We managed to squeeze out 3-3-3-9-20tRFC-5tWR-2T at a tRD of 6 at 800MHz under the "Extreme" performance setting. The result of which virtually equals the performance of the Asus P5Q Deluxe (also an Intel P45) - the read and write speeds are a nose faster for the Asus but the copy performance and latency is better for the Gigabyte.

The improved BIOS seems to have eeked out a notable wedge more performance over the EP45-DQ6 we previously looked at which uses the same basic BIOS underneath.

Sisoft Sandra claims the performance is slightly more favourable on the Gigabyte on average, overall - with a 30MB/s higher memory performance and 4ns lower latency than the Asus P5Q Deluxe.
